Something to laugh (or cry) at...

Something to take your mind off Gaza! (and worry about our other problems.)

A Yeshiva Shiur!

Cute video (a little long, and could do with a more upbeat soundtrack) and I have always wondered whther anyone listned when they make recordings of my shiurim! When I recorded shiurim for the VBM's KMTT I was always rather taken aback when people told me that they had actually listened to the shiur!

Heblish!

Bush is here and America is all over the news (and all over Jerusalem.) In Bush's honour we invite all American citizens to make Aliya!

Actually, due to all the parking restrictions and anticipated road closures during Bush's visit, when I had to drive to Rechavia today at midday, it was like driving at 2:00 a.m. No traffic. Thanks Bush!

On the radio this evening, they told a great episode that happened at the dinner that Ehud Olmert held at his residence. apparently, Bush went around the table asking every minister where his/her parents were born. He was amazed that not a single govt. minister's parents were born in Eretz Yisrael! Well - welcome to the miracle of Kibbutz Galuyot! (ingathering of the Exiles.)

A Joke to start the week

The Israeli Ambassador at the U.N. began, 'Ladies and gentlemen before I commence with my speech, I want to relay an old Passover story to all of you..

'When Moses was leading the Jews out of Egypt toward the Promised Land, he
had to go through whay seemed like a nearly endless Sinai desert.

When they reached the Promised Land, the people had become very thirsty and
needed water.

So Moses struck the side of a mountain with his staff and a pond appeared with crystal clean, cool water. The people rejoiced and drank to their hearts' content.

'Moses wished to cleanse his whole body, so he went over to the other side of the pond, took all of his clothes off and dived into the cool waters.

Only when Moses came out of the water, he discovered that all of his clothes had been stolen. 'And,' he said, 'I have reasons to believe that the Palestinians stole my clothes.''

The Palestinian delegate to the UN, hearing this accusation, jumps from his seat and screams out, 'This is a travesty. It is widely known that there were no Palestinians there at that time!'

'And with that in mind,' said the Israeli Ambassador, 'let me now begin my speech.'

Why Stay in England?

Latest reports say that Mars Twix and Snickers in the UK will all be non-Kosher pretty soon.

What with:
.. and now, no more Mars Bars?!!!! I have finally come to the conclusion that there is absolutely no reason for staying in England. All Jews should definitely make Aliya now!
